About Tim Silk
Tim loves the way in which high functioning leaders rediscover their extraordinary brilliance. His 25-year career experience, working within a global organisation, developing leadership talent, setting culture and specialising in communication formed the root system of his ability to coach leaders. The organisation Tim worked with was the Church of England. It was the tough lessons that developed the greatest offer Tim has, to connect with, give confidence to and bring clarity to the leader at their most crucial moment.
Tim’s coaching style is inquisitive, confidence building, and positively disruptive. Clients are drawn out by Tim’s ability to listen to the point that they understand themselves. This leads to a decrease in leadership isolation and uncertainty and an increase in leadership awareness and resilience.
His area of expertise is getting to heart of the person who is leading a team in challenging times. He works with clients to develop character qualities that underpin soft skills and elevate technical skills. Clients grow in awareness, agency and authority which arises from their developed understanding of themselves and their opportunity.
Tim has an ability to change the game for leaders who need to reset their capabilities for a changing circumstance. His interests are varied and include natural history, heritage crafts and adventure cycling.
